Our Programs & SERVICES
We-Cycle Resource Center
Our We-Cycle Resource Center serves both as our home base and as a community resource center. We regularly hold community events at and host bike rides from the center, as well as offer bike and safety educational courses for groups and individuals.
The We-Cycle Resource Center is open to the public and completely free to use. Public Wi-Fi is also available for those who need a space to relax and connect to the internet. Our center is your center! Stop by and visit us!
Bike Shop and Service Department
Our We-Cycle Resource Center also has a fully equipped Bike Shop and a wide selection of donated bikes available for children and adults; including cruisers, road bikes, mountain bikes, hybrids, and BMX bikes. We're always getting in newly donated bike options so our selection of options varies daily.
In addition, our Service Department also offers a wide range of free bike maintenance services; including tune-ups, repairs, part replacements, and cleanings. We also have community workstations and tools available for those who wish to come in and perform their own work.
Earn-A-Bike Program
Our Earn-A-Bike Program is a program for individuals with low income or limited resources that allows them to volunteer and work a number of hours in exchange for credits used towards earning a bike of their choice. Individuals earn 1 credit for each hour worked that can be used towards redeeming a bike.
Candidate participants in our Earn-A-Bike Program participate in volunteer activities at our We-Cycle Resource Center performing various work tasks including cleaning and/or organizing the center, or repairing and/or tuning up bicycles in our Bike Shop and Service Department.
Hub & Spoke Program
Our Hub & Spoke Program is a partnership program between Bike Friendly South Dallas™ and our Community Partners.
Select community partners each have their own sponsored Bike Friendly South Dallas™ lockers with supplies for making basic bicycle repairs.
